Aurora bonus
The unaudited consolidated net profit of Aurora /Group, Ltd, for the six months was 1524,600 (1980, an increase df 1917 /per cent. This was arrived at after providing for taxation of $232,970 (1980. *5254,530). In addition realised capital profits for th/j period were $77,730 (1980 $176,023) resulting -from the disposal of assets surplus to the group’s
operation.’
The '-/directors have .resolved 4o make a non-taxabje interijra distribution of 7.5 pec cent from the share premium account, subject to the consent of the High Court for which application will shortly be made. Where dividend election notices are held /payment will be made
from -the appropriation account. Payment will be made to fully-paid ordinary shareholders on the register at 5 p.m. on January 14. They also plan to make a
non-taxable bonus issue of fully-paid ordinary shares ‘ from the revaluation of assets -reserve in 'the ratio of one''bonus share for every ■five ordinary shares .held, to shareholders on the register at 5 .p.m. on January 15. An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be held in December to approve the bonus issue.
