CTP sells Aust, link
Canterbury Timber Products, Ltd, will sell its re-cently-developed Australian interests. CTP and Australian Consolidated Industries, Ltd, (ACI) announce that, as part of a reorganisation and rationalisation programme involving assets in Australia and New Zealand, they have mutually agreed that ACI
will purchase the shares owned by Customwood Industries, Ltd (a subsidiary of CTP) in Laminex Customwood Pty, Ltd, fdr a consideration of $NZ3,850,000 cash. The existing arrangements under which CTP provides technical knowledge and backup under a long term arrangement will continue.
