Unemployment
Sir.—How can Mr Muldoon expect us to believe in all those new jobs he says he will create if we re-elect him, when we have seen the number of jobs lost while he has been in power? And if he does manage to recreate a few jobs by selling our assets to multinationals, where will he find the skilled people, when Aussie Malcolm's been so busy phasing out population and Merv Wellington similarly with education? We have already had it broken to us that some of the skilled jobs created by overseas capital w’ould have to be filled by overseas craftsmen: would’ it be most of the jobs?—Yours, etc.,
ROBIN MITCHELL. November 10, 1981.
