Brown retains lead
Although he had a singularly unsuccessful day, on Saturday, Vaughan Brown remains a clear leader in the Lion player of the season competition in senior cricket. He added only 10 points to take his score to 418, and his lead over Garry Hooper was
reduced by 20. Hooper has 353 points. These two are followed byDavid Trist (306) Peter Rattray (282) Steve Bateman (274), Ray Jones (257) Bob Carter (256) and Richard Hadlee (252).
