A plant for the production of 60 tonnes per day of ice manufacturing units is required. The ice shall be gravity fed to a 120 tonne storage bin from where it shall be pneumatically conveyed to a concrete batching plant. The plant should be supplied from a company having experience in the manufacture of ice for the inclusion in concrete to be used in a mass concrete dam. This work is required to be carried out between December 18, 1981 and January 18. 1982. Erected the Bin consists of a steel hopper supported on universal columns. Principal dimentions 6.5 m x 4.5 m x 13.0 m height. Total weight 37.8 tonnes. The Bln has been dismantled Into 10 major sections together with columns and bracing.
