Public Notices Public Notices CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE SCHEDULE TO THE CLEAN AIR ZONE (CHRISTCHURCH) ORDER 1977 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: — (a) That the Christchurch City Council has made an application to the Minister of Health, pursuant to Section 12 of the Clean Air Act 1972. to amend the schedule to the Clean Air Zone (Christchurch) Order 1977 by including the following appliances and approved fuels: Appliance: 1. -'Woodsman Log Burner.” (a) Console Unit, (b) Inbuilt' Unit - Manufactured by W. H. Harris. Ltd, Christchurch. Approved Fuel: Wood with a moisture content not exceeding 25 per cent (on wet weight) this being wood which has been cut and air dried usually for a period of not less than three months. 2. "Warmaire Regency Wood Burner Fireplace Space Heater” Manufactured by Warmaire Industries, Ltd, Auckland. Wood with a moisture content not exceeding 25 per cent (on wet weight) this being wood which has been cut and air dried usually for a period of not less than three months. (b) A copy of the application may be inspected at the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, during a period of six weeks from the date of the last publication of the Notice. (c) Within the said period any person who will be affected by the amendment may — by notice in writing to the Minister of Health and supplying a copy of the Notice to the local authority - object to the recommendation.
