Marathon win
The former Christchurch United Harrier Club runner. Dave Askin, won the annual Winstone marathon in Southland recently.
Askin, who now runs for St Pauls (Invercargill), completed the course in a personal best time of 2 hours 22 mins 30s. heading in his clubmate. Guy Turner, by 75 seconds.
