PA Takapau The Government has repeated its firm opposition to a four-day week in freezing works. Opening the new sheep and lamb processing works at Takapau, Hawke’s Bay, yesterday, the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) said a four-day week would inevitably spread first through the freezing industry and then into other industries. “The one plant would just be the thin end of the wedge,” he said.
