NZPA-Reuter Cape Canaveral The space shuttle Columbia was due to lift from Cape Canaveral al 4 a.m. today 2*4 hours late. It was reported as this edition went to press that engineers worked through the night to fit a replacement part. A faulty data transmission device had caused the delay. When the fault was discovered engineers called for a replacement to be taken from Columbia’s sister shipChallenger which is still under construction in California.
