Burrows top player
The DB North Canterbury Rugby Player of the Year has been awarded to 26-year-old Jack Burrows. Burrows plays his club rugby for the North Canterbiry-Hurunui combined rugby champion, Glenmark. He was presented with the award at a dinner at the Waipara Hotel. He represented both Canterbury Country and North Canterbury this season and played ? consistently throughout. Mr Lex Boag, a North Canterbury rugby referee has bear awarded the Garrick Memorial Trophy for the Personality of the Year in the issociation. Boag
is rated third in the top five referees in Canterbury.
