PA. Auckland Whitianga police are still looking for the person who threw a full beer bottle through a car window, seriously injuring Kimberley Stott, aged 14, on October 25. Kimberley, from Te Kuiti, will have the last of 70 stitches in her face removed
at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, later this week. Surgeons stitched an eyelid back on during a three-hour operation, and believe she will keep“her sight. She was in a car with five other people when one of two young men threw the bottle as the car crossed a bridge in Whitianga about 10.15 p.m.
