Miss Waring in hospital for rest
PA Hamilton . The member of Parliament for Waipa, Miss Marilyn Waring, has been admitted to a private hospital in Hamilton after falling ill at her Cambridge home at the week-end. Electorate and National Party sources said she was suffering from exhaustion and was advised by her doctor to take several days rest in the hospital, which they would not name.
Party officials apparently are determined to screen Miss Waring from callers. She was helped from Parliament’s debating chamber 11 days, ago after almost blacking out with severe chest pains and breathing problems. Two days later she was back working normally. One senior party official said yesterday that Miss Waring had been “driving herself” hard lately.
