Wellington poised
PA Blenheim Wellington played its way into a powerful position against Marlborough on the first day of a representative cricket match at Blenheim yesterday.
After the Wellington first innings closed at 207 fro two Marlbouough were dismissed for only 58. At stumps Wellington had a 174-run lead with all its second innings wickets in hand. The match ends today.
