N.Z., England to clash
NZPA Washington New Zealand and England will clash as expected in the final game of their pool to decide who meets Australia in the final of the world women’s squash championships in Toronto. Both teams had five wins in their section of the weeklong tournament. New Zealand maintained its unbeaten record, beating
Canada, 3-0, to reach the final section match against the English. Scores: Robyn Blackwood (Auckland) beat Beryl Patron, 91. 9-7, 9-2; Annette Owen (Auckland) beat Nancy Ballantyne 9-7, 9-5, 10-8: Joanne Milne (Otago University) beat Jan Taylor 9-3, 9-5, 10-8. Susan Devoy (Rotorua) will return to the team, replacing Milne, in the trio to meet England.
