Yachtsman still critical

PA Wellington A yachtsman, Merv Hodge, is still in a critical condition in Wellington Hospital with head injuries suffered while crewing in the Southern Cross Cup yacht trials last Saturday. Mr Hodge was struck on the head by the spinnaker boom on the yacht Ta’Aroa. A Wanganui motor-cycle sidecar racer. Dave Doran, is also critically ill with head and chest injuries. He was flown to Wellington on Sunday after a speedway accident at Wanganui.
