Attackers sought
A special squad of six police officers have been detailed to find the youths who wrecked a Cass Bay house on Sunday evening and attacked the occupants. Six youths wielding crowbars, hammers, and baseball bats burst into the house at 11 Bay View Road smashing glass doors, win--
dows, and aquarium, prints, paintings and furniture. A man and a woman were taken to Christchurch Hospital with head injuries but have been discharged. Sergeant L. J. Bruce, of the Christchurch police inquiry office, said his men were gathering evidence and had several promising leads.
