Rotunda design wins award
PA Auckland Wellington architects, Bill Hunt, Launder Comesky, and Sarah Scott have won a Monier Design Award for a band rotunda they designed for Oriental Bay. The judges made awards last evening in only three categories out of a total of five. The other award winners were Libby Farrelly for a laundromat in Ponsonby and Nick Bevin for a Twentieth Century extension to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
