Moving from New Plymouth
PA ' New Plymouth Malcolm Smith, one of New Zealand’s most successful. trainers of. recent years, is to close his New Plymouth training establishment and concentrate his activities at Awapuni. From his stables at Bell Block and during a short period as private trainer to the late Mr C. W. Ansford at Stratford, Smith has produced 252 winners, in some of the country’s'top races.
