Genius in court
PA Hong Kong Amos Dawe, a financier regarded by his followers as a financial genius, set off a chain of worthless cheques as part of an S22M fraud in South-East Asia, a court here was told. Mr Dawe, a 46-year-old Singaporean, was appearing in this British colony’s central district court at the start of a trial which could last several months.
