‘Act of mercy’
Sir,—The recent effort to rescue Herb, instigated by Mrs McDonald, aided by the media, those who willingly supported financially, and the offer of a home at Mr and-Mrs Isaac’s property is worthy of high praise. This heart-warming act of mercy towards this creature, in addition to countless other similar situations —
known and unknown — proves there are still many selfless and caring people in our midst. — Yours, etc., ESTELLE WIN. September 4. 1981.
