Fog disrupts airport

PA Wellington Heavy fog at Wellington Airport yesterday morning caused the cancellation of 19 flights, disrupting the travel arrangements of about 1000 people throughout New Zealand.

The airport’s traffic superintendent, Mr lan Crossann, said the arrivals and departures were marginal about mid-morning, but by late yes terday morning most of the fog had lifted and flights were returning to normal.
