The appointee will join a team providing a range of social work services to patients and their families — mainly, but not exclusively, in the psychiatric area. Scope exists forr the appointee to further develop social work skills and/or interest in the mental health of children and their families. Applicants should have recognised social work qualifications. Some relevant previous experience would be an advantage. Salary depending on qualifications and experience in accordance with Hospital Service Social Workers’ Determination up to a maximum of $17,741 per annum. Provision exists for further advancement to $18,592 per annun.
