Bees for Canada?
PA Whakatane An almost unlimited market could open in Canada soon for queen bees from the hives of New Zealand breeders, according to an apiarist of Taneatua, near Whakatane, Mr Bruce Stanley. He said several apiarists has met recently to set up an informal co-operative and to decide marketing strategies for the new market - recently closed to imports of stock from some other countries because disease risk.
