Dolls and planes
Once again, the Building Centre is featuring a special holiday attraction for children of all ages. This time, the centre has something totally new — the largest ever doll display with several hundred dolls, including antique ones dressed in authentic Victorian clothing together with prams and other accessories of the period. These are shown by courtesy of Mrs R. Browne. There also is a collection of-dolls from all nations in their national costume and displayed by courtesy of
Miss J. Porton. The accuracy and design and colour detail is remarkable.
For those whose interest lies in aviation, the centre is showing the Ron Light collection of hand-crafted model aircraft.
This must be the most outstanding selection of models in the country — each one showing a high standard of detail.
There are models representing many, of the world’s great airlines and featuring their authentic markings.
