A decision on whether an artificial all-weather surface will be laid at Porritt Park, is likely to be made at a public meeting at the Park this The meeting has been called by the Canterbury Hockey Association and the
Canterbury Women’s Hockey Association who will be the' principal users of the surface if the scheme is considered feasible. Last, week the Christchurch City Council gave its approval in principle to the installation of the $BOO,OOO surface at the Park.
