Seminar on Clydesdales

A noted Clydesdale breeder. Mr K. Barwell, of Southbridge, will hold a seminar on the breed at Lincoln College this month. Mr Barwell, Professor C. H. G. Irvine, of the college, and Mr J. J. Wyllie (Omihi) will be the speakers at the seminar, which will be held on August 24. 25, and 26. Mr Barwell said he had decided to organise the seminar because of the increasing popularity of the breed. Those attending will hear papers on breeding, showing, buying, working, and breaking in Clydesdales. Registrations can be arranged through Lincoln College, Mr Barwell said.
