Africans seek ban on N.Z.
NZPA London African countries have asked for a special meeting of the Commonwealth Games Federation to have New Zealand banned from the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, said the chairman of the federation, Sir Alexander Ross, yesterday.
But Sir Alexander said he could not make any comment on the request at this stage.
The request from the African countries came after they had met during the recent meeting of the Association of National Olympic Committees in Milan.
