Good win to Wellington

PA Hastings Wellington opened its national first division rugby campaign with a 31-14 win over Hawke’s Bay at Hastings yesterday. Powerful driving play from the Wellington pack showed the way for their five-try victory. Wet, heavy conditions on the park did not hinder either side from throwing the ball round at every opportunity to reward the crowd of about 3309 with eight tries.
