Auchinlishan. a filly bv Double Speed from Fair Orbit; came out best by a neck in the first heat of the two-year-old parade at Riccarton yesterday. This well developed youngster is prepared at Riccarton by Bob Register and carries the colours of his wife.

Chester Row. a Red TonyAllsier filly in Carol McCarthy's stable, was the best of Auchintishan's rivals. She was three lengths in advance of her stablemate. Cats Eyes, and Charles Beaufort led in the others. - The Tuahiwi trainers. Barbara and Ray Harris, put four of the six runners into the second heat and they ran first, second, third and fifth. Victory went to Laughing Lover, a Balios-Laughter colt which is raced by Mr D. Milne, by two lengths from Shamoana. a Great WallPetulia filly which carries Ray Harris’s colours. An unnamed youngster by Pirgos out of Lady Black was a length back third and Rusty's Image was next, ahead 'of Lampray.
