Many Mirages
The , Mitsubishi Mirage, above, comes in five versions, the GL (manual threedoor 1244 cu cm), the GLS (manual three-door 1410 cu cm), and the GLX (1244 cu cm three-door, five-door, and automatic five-door). ; Changes to the 1981 models include modifications to front and rear suspension
and the engine mounting has been altered from a five to four point system to decrease engine vibrations. The most obvious exterior change in this year’s models,, however, is the “egg-crate” grille. Other modifications include new lenses in the tail-light, and the GLS sports model has a laminated windscreen.
