Take-over completed

Greggs, Ltd, of Dunedin, has completed an unconditional take-over of Wilsons Distillers, Ltd.

Shareholders will be paid 150 c a share, plus an interest payment, of 125 c a share. The delay in announcing the 1 unconditional take-over was because a distillers licence had not been issued, which was delaying a contract between Wilson and Seagram, which intends buying the company.. Greggs now hold 96.4 per cent or 1,614,214 of the 1,673,000 issued shares in the company.
