Sir,—l applaud the sentiments of Mrs Diane B. Simmonds (July 23) and I am sure there are many others who agree with us. Let us clean up our own backyard of “garbage" before we start on that of someone else. For the duration of this controversial Springbok tour I am cancelling my subscription to “The Press,” and the only thing I will miss is the obituaries.—Yours, etc.,
