NZPAAtlantic City, New Jersey A Philadelphian boxer, Jeff Chandler, retained his World Boxing Association bantamweight crown yesterday with a seventh-round knockout of Julian Solis in

their scheduled 15-round title bout. Chandler, aged 24, scored the knockout with a left jab and a right cross to the chin of Solis. It was the third successful title defence for Chandler.
