NZPA Melbourne The New Zealand jumper Mr Hickey had to again be content with second place when Suede Boy won the $20,000 A. V. Hiskens Steeple (3600 m at Moonee Valley on Saturday. Suede Boy, carrying 61kg beat Mr Hickey, which lumped topweight of 71.5 kg, by three and a half lengths. Suede Boy which finished third behind Kaimoto and Mr Hickey in the Grand National was ridden by the New Zealand jockey, Grant Ace, giving him his first city winner of the season. Mr Hickey is due to return to New Zealand on August 7.
