Only five finish

Only five ridtrs finished race five of the Wilson Neill professional cycling series in bitterly cold conditions at Halswell on Sunday. A series of attacks and the conditions between them had 20 of the starters cry enough, and the powerful leader in the series. Steve Dohertv, was untroubled to beat Owen Wylie and Clayton Yaxley at the end of the 120 km. The only other finishers were Brent Stanaway and a rather distressed Russell Nant.
