Wedding bonfires
Prince Charles will spend the eve of his wedding at a giant fireworks party in London’s Hyde Park. Lady Diana Spencer won’t be there, although she could be watching oh television. Plans for the $181,600 fireworks display, Britain’s biggest for 231 years, were announced at the week-end. The Prince will light the first of a nationwide chain of 101 beacons and bonfires throughout the country. Most other members of the Royal Family, and an estimated 500,000 other people, will be in the park.— London.
