Body in shed

The partly decomposed body of a Christchurch man who had been missing from his home since April 11 was found on a farm near Kirwee yesterday morning. He was John Francis Patrick Butler, aged 38. The body was found in a hayshed by a farmer on a Courtenay property. skm from Kirwee. The cause of death was not known yesterday, although the police said that there were no suspicious circumstances.

A police spokesman said that the body had been in the hayshed 'for some time".. Mr Butler was reported missing from his home on April 11. Two days later his car was found abandoned at Sheffield.
