Greymouth reporter A computer was stolen in a ?15.000 raid on the control tower of Hokitika Airport, between 6 p.m. on Saturday and 3 am. yesterday. early yesterday morning, because it had been jammed after being jcmmied open. Detective Sergeant T. J. Gorman, the head of the Greymouth C. 1.8.. said that it was obvious that a vehicle had been employed to remove the equipment, because 38 litres of petrol had been siphoned from the airport's crash tender vehicle. He doubted that the computer could be used subversively-. Investigations are continuing.
