All Blacks to take doctor
PA Wellington The AU Black side to tour Rumania and France in October and November this yearwill be accompanied by a doctor as well as a physiotherapist. . The decision was made at Friday's N.Z.R.F.U. council meeting. The chairman (Mr Ces Blazey) said a doctor would accompany All Black sides on overseas tours to non-English speaking countries in future. A Pukekohe physiotherapist, Mr Malcolm Hood, has been appointed to accompany the side to Rumania and France and the appointment of a doctor will be
discussed at the next meeting of the council on July 10 Other appointments made were — Physiotherapist for domestictests against Scotland and South Africa this vear — Mr Malcolm Hood. Manager New Zealand Colts side v. Australia — Mr Paul Mitchell: coach. Mr Bryce Rope; manager North Island’ side. Mr Paul Mitchell: manager South Island side. Mr Ray Harper: coach North Island ' side. Mr Frank Ryan; coach South Island side. Mr Morrie Dixon: N.Z.R.F.U. liaison officer with Australian under-21 side, Mr Dick Littlejohn.
