PA Auckland The All Black lock, Andy Haden, has declared himself unavailable for Auckland’s match against Waikato on Monday because of a dispute with Auckland’s coach, Bryan Craies. And he said last evening that he does not yet know if he will be available for Auckland’s next match, against Manawatu on June
He still intends playing for his club. Ponsonby, tomorrow, and remains available for the All Black team to play Scotland, which will be finalised on Monday. Haden has been tipped as
a likely All Black captain — in the absence of Graham Mourie — for the three-test series against South Africa. Haden said last night: "I declared myself unavailable for the match in Hamilton as a result of a disagreement with Craies over certain aspects of team discipline. Whether I am available for future Auckland games depends on what transpires.” When the Auckland team was named yesterday, Haden was merely listed as being unavailable and no reason was given.
Mr Craies could not be contacted for comment last evening. .
