Wool dearer
PA Napier Fleece wool was to 2‘z per cent dearer at the Napier wool sale yesterday. Second-shear wools were quoted as being generally in sellers’ favour with the market for clothing oddments unchanged/ The catalogues were made up of 23,974 bales of greasy wool. Some attractive wools w’ere offered, the bulk being second-shear wools of varying length and type. However, seasonal conditions in some areas had caused some water stain discoloration. The adjusted weighted average sale price was 261.11 c. Official range of prices: Crossbred, early shorn, short and
