Mr Davis retires
PA Auckland The retiring chief executive of the Air New Zealand, Mr M.R. Davis, was bidden farewell at a staff function yesterday. Hundreds of employees packed the staff cafeteria to hear tributes to the man who will end tomorrow, his 40 years service with the company.
Messages of tribute to Mr Davis came from many parts of New Zealand and overseas.
The incoming acting chief
executive, Mr John Wisdom, , presented him with a writing desk on behalf of the staff.
