Second jogger dies after accident
PA Invercargill The second jogger involved in ah accident near the Gore Racecourse on May 18 died .at Southland Hospital last night. He was Murray Arthur Jones, aged 40. married,, with three ; children, of Gore. '; Mr Jones was chief technician at the Gore Post Office. ’ J Three Gore men wore
jogging home from a Gore Harriers’ Club meeting at the racecourse, when the leading two were struck by a ' car on State highway 1 at 6.5 pm. The other man hit, Robert Struthers Beveridge, was killed instantly. - " The. occupants of the car were returning from a funeral in Invercargill.
