Welsh rarebit
This is ah- old; favourite, wjth people who like cooked/ Cheese. Try it for a. tea-:tirne;’ dr for supper. ■ ' You will need: ; 125 g Tasty cheese .1 tablespoon butter % cup of milk % teaspoon of prepared mustard 1 level tablespoon of flour 1 egg . 4 slices of toast bread What to do: 1. Grate the. cheese. . i 2. Soften the butter in a saucepan. Add the beaten egg. Stir well before adding the flour. Stir again, then njix in the milk. 3. Stand the saucepan over a low, heat and stir until the ’mixture thickens.
4. Mix in the grated cheese and prepared mustard. Season to taste. Stirfover low heat until the cheese melts. Add a little more milk if-'the /> mixture is too thick andsstir q again. : 4 5. Keep the mixture hot ; while you make the toast; 6. Spread over the toast and serve.
