Correction

An article in “The Press” on Tuesday about the failure of Reid Development, Ltd (in- receivership and liquidation), listed several companies in which the managing director of Reid Development (Mr D. J. S. Reid) was described as being a substantial shareholder. ■lncluded in the list was Reid Construction (Otago), Ltd. It has since been brought to the attention of “The Press” by a solicitor for Mr N. V.' Reid, managing director of Reid Construction (Otago), Ltd, that that firm has no con

nection with Reid Development, Ltd. Mr G. R. Thomas, of Dunedin, solicitor for Mr N. V. Reid, said yesterday that Reid Construction (Otago), Ltd, traded solely in Dunedin and had no association whatever with the Christchurch firm in liquidation. Mr Thomas said that Mr D. J. S. Reid, of Reid i Development, Ltd, (in liquidation and receivership), had no shares at all in Reid Construction (Otago), Ltd. The error is regretted.
