Ministry of Works w and Development WAIMAKARIRI GORGE : SH 72 BRIDGE REPAIRS UNDER SECTION 13 of the National Roads Act 1953, notice is hereby given that during strengthening work on the Waimakariri Gorge Bridge the following restrictions will apply: (a) Intermittent Closure: The bridge may be close.d for periods of up to 1 hour duration on-any day with opening times of 5 minutes each hour, on.the hour. - > J > . (b) Width Restriction: The approaches and bridge xi'will be restricted to vehicle" not exceeding 3.300 metres in width. This restriction will affect. Agricultural machitery , Ur travelling -under clause 48 of the Traffic Regulations 1976. ' (c) Total Closure: The bridge will be totally closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday May 18, 1981.
