Shamrock wins
The Woodville four-year’-old. Shamrock, was a narrow winner of the $50,000 Prime Ministers Cup at Southport, Surfers Paradise, yesterday. Ridden by Noel Harris, Shamrock finished best along the rails to beat Farewell Chime by half a head. Mun Lee went a fine trial for the $lOO,OOO Brisbane Cup with . a fast-finishing fourth with Ar'ethues close up fifth.
