The Lyttelton Harbour Board has decided that moorings in the inner harbour relinquished for any reason will not, in future be. reallocated. ; , The'' decision has been taken to enable the board to phase out progressively inner harbour moorings from the north-east. The . board has also decided to .investigate methods of charging users of the public slipway at the Naval Point reclamation. Any funds generated would be used to provide further facilities for smalt craft. ,
