A headline" in “The Press’’ yesterday incorrectly said that a man had been jailed for fraud and assault. David Leslie Timpson, aged 19, unemployed. was convicted ■in the Christchurch District Court on 17 charges, comprising 15 of fraud and two of assault with intent to ■injure, and remanded on bail to May 21 for sentence. Judge McAloon hinted that a custodial sentence was a possibility. The error in the headline is regretted. ■ ’
