Both positions are located in the Head Office/Wellinaton City. RESEARCH ANALYST (MAJOR RESOURCE BASED PROJECTS) This new appointment is in the CORPORATE FINANCE DIVISION. The successful applicant would specialise in large resource based projects. The person needs very sound commercial experience to contribute to the sophisticated business judgments involved. REQUIREMENTS (Position R.B. 1749) • A proven business background, preferably involving complex project . evaluations and feasibility studies. • Initiative and ability to work independently. • High level of oral and written communication abilities. • The confidence and skills to gain the respect of senior management. • A graduate in business studies, economics, engineering or science. RESEARCH ANALYST (SMALL BUSINESS RESEARCH) The successful applicant will concentrate on business research and support services in New Zealand's small business sector. A study of export marketing services for small businesses is one example of this work. REQUIREMENTS (Position R.B. 1750» • Some business experience and an enthusiasm for the industrial development of small businesses. • Proven capacity to undertake soundly based research in a commercial environment. • Excellent oral and written expression skills. • A degree in economics, accountancy, science, engineering, business studies, forestry or agriculture.
